Hey guys! Hope you guys are doing well! A lot of people have been brushing up on their cooking skills while being stuck at home and this is a really easy beginner recipe if you want to try!

time: 30 mins

serves: 4-5

ingredients:

-12 oz pasta

-water

-1/2 tablespoon oil

-1 teaspoon salt

-onions, cilantros, assorted vegetables

-2 tablespoons garlic

-4 tablespoons nutritional yeast

-1 to 2 teaspoons of sugar

-1 cup of milk (we used almond)

optional but encouraged:

-3 teaspoons slap ya mama

-1/2 teaspoon Cajun spice

-dash of mushroom seasoning

1) on high heat boil 8 cups of water

2) once boiling, add pasta, oil and salt and turn down to medium heat

3) cook until soft, around 10 mins (not too soft though, you don’t want it to fall apart)

4) prepare the veggies by cutting

5) check the noodles by trying to break the pasta and try to taste for texture

6) drain pasta

7) use same pot and put garlic and onion and a teaspoon of oil to sauté in the pot

8) put in the vegetables into the pot and soften

9) add slap ya mama, yeast, sugar, spice, and milk to the pot

10) add pasta after everything is evenly combined and then close the lid to cook a little more and soften slightly

11) ready to serve!

*mushroom seasoning can be found at asian grocery stores

*this recipe is great for clearing your fridge of veggies and is super customizable for your preferred tastes
